We have several events in the next week or two. Here are the details of our upcoming meetings:
Project F.I.S.H.
The following students are on this team: Lilly Johnson, William Darnoi, Natalie Seiler, Eric Ligon, Nicholas Darnoi, Vira Mehta, Maria Baker, Claudia Seiler.
These children will be participating in the “No Child Left Inside Summit” at the Costick Center tonight from 6:30 to 8:30. If you missed the last meeting, but are on this team, please come to the event tonight. This will take place immediately after the K-6/School Board meeting at Highmeadow from 5-6 tonight. The children will be running a “casting” contest in the gym while the parents hear about outdoor activities and events. Pizza and drinks will be served. Project S.A.F.E.
The following students are on this team: Yash Mehta, Joshen Patel, Keith Lerner, Isaac Miller, Erin Abramczyk, Lynn Lerner, Lena Roberts, Devin Tran, Meredith Abramaczyk, Roshen Patel, Abraham Miller, Lia Tran.
This group will meet tomorrow night, March 23, at 6:30pm at Highmeadow in the LGI room. The meeting should last less than one hour. Some of our children have talent show rehearsal at Harrison High School until 6:00pm tomorrow. So we have a few options to consider. If you are on this team, please write to richard@f2hoptimists.org and let me know which of the following you would prefer:
1. Keep the meeting as scheduled.
2. Keep the meeting as scheduled, have pizza & drinks in a working/dinner session.
3. Reschedule the meeting to next week.
Project Mini-Golf
The following students are on this team: Camryn Johns, Ammanuel Roberts, Jagjeet Wani, Shaina Strasberger, Vikram Thirupathi, Haripriya Suryadevara, Ria Bajaria, Roma Bajaria, Tristan Strasberger, Nithya Jaisankar, Neha Jaisankar, Sanjay Sankaran.
This group is currently working on several tasks for the May 15 Tournament. If you have completed any of your assignements, please send the information or status to richard@f2hoptimists.org.
Project T.A.F.F.Y.
The following students are on this team: Haylie Pohlman, Margaret Amshay, Sierra Nagy, Ella George, Emily Eahrow , Samantha Eahrow, Jack Carlson, Nadia Morman-Williams, Erik Carlson, Eleanor Luttman.
This team is working on a meeting date and place for next week, just before the Easter break. More details as they become available.
No Child Left Inside Tonight!
If you are not on the Project FISH team, you should still consider attending tonight's No Child Left Inside program at the Costick Center from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be crafts and other activities for the kids, and some great information for the parents about the benefits of getting your kids outside, and what to do when they get there. Several organizations with summer programs and camps will be there. The cost is $5 for adults, children are free, and it includes a pizza dinner.
