2013 Optimist Golf Outing PDF Print E-mail

The 23rd Annual Orrie Donley Optimist Golf Outing will be held on August 6, 2013 at the Farmington Hills Golf Club, at Halsted and 11 Mile Roads.

This our largest fundraising event each year. It enables our organization to provide major financial support for many worthwhile programs and events. Last year, this event raised over $8,000 to support youth programs in our community. Optimist Clubs are part of Optimist International, one of the world’s largest service clubs. Each operates autonomously, allowing its activities to be specially created to serve the specific needs of local youth.

The Orrie Donley Golf Outing is a four-person scramble and includes breakfast, lunch and a BBQ dinner.  Details for these events are outlined in the PDF brochure available by clicking on the green button at the right. You can also sign up or purchase a sponsorship online below. Please join us for a fun day on the golf course or provide support through sponsorships or donations of prizes.

Optimist Club activities cover a wide range of services that genuinely support our goal of “Bringing Out the Best in Kids”. Many of these programs work in conjunction with our local schools and other community service organizations to assist high-risk students. The Farmington/Farmington Hills Breakfast Optimist Club is a non-profit organization, funded by individual and corporate donations and special events. All profits from events such as the golf outing go directly to serving the youth in our community.
